Ph.D. in Special Education Policy Studies (SEPS)
The Educational Leadership and Policy Studies Program with the Special Education Program
               have been awarded a U.S. Department of Education grant to prepare policy leaders in
               special education who will prepare for roles as faculty members in special education
               and special education policy leadership at the local, state, or federal level. SEPS
               scholars receive scholarships for full-time study to complete the doctorate in special
               education with emphasis on educational policy leadership. 
The five-year course of study includes opportunities for early research as well as
               for internships in local, state, and national organizations/agencies. Dr. Jeannie
               Kleinhammer-Tramil in USF's Special Education program serves as the Principal Investigator
               and Drs. Zorka Karanxha and Dr. Vonzell Agosto serve as Co-Principal Investigators.
