Biomedical Sciences

Research within the Biomedical Sciences (BMS) group covers a wide range of human health conditions including cancer, aging, diabetes, endometriosis, neurodegenerative disease and alcohol use disorder. Experimental applications within this group include a broad array of model systems such as the nematode worm C. elegans, transgenic and knockout mice, mouse tumor models, 2D and 3D cell culture models, amongst others.
