Philanthropist Timothy Ubben gives $5 million to ԹϱHealth to fight pulmonary fibrosis
The Թϱ announced a $5 million gift to the ԹϱFoundation from Timothy Ubben to create the Ubben Family Center for Pulmonary Fibrosis. Housed in the ԹϱHealth Morsani College of Medicine, the center will increase research to fight pulmonary fibrosis, a disease that causes lung scarring.

Three Թϱ faculty members whose inventions in engineering, molecular medicine and chemistry are shaping drug discovery, environmental sustainability and modern dental care have been selected as new National Academy of Inventors Fellows.

Subhra Mohapatra, PhD, a professor of molecular medicine at the ԹϱHealth Morsani College of Medicine, was one of three Թϱfaculty members recently selected as new National Academy of Inventors (NAI) Fellows. Dr. Mohapatra is a pioneering scientist/researcher whose work over 26 years has been instrumental in advancing the frontiers of drug delivery and cancer treatment (ԹϱHealth).
