The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ total expected funds of $69.9 million over the next four years to continue the follow-up of study participants in The Environmental Determinants of Diabetes in The Young (TEDDY) consortium (News-Medical.net).
New robots see it all: ocean whirlpools, carbon gas absorption, icebergs, and more
ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏresearchers are using autonomous vehicles to study how the ocean is responding to climate change. In 2020 they landed a $1.1 million NSF proposal -- the first time NSF is leveraging ocean drones instead of ships (ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏCollege of Marine Science).
