Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is once again and for the 10th straight year the top-ranked hospital in the Tampa Bay region, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2025-2026 Best Hospitals rankings. TGH also earned recognition as one of the Top 50 hospitals in the nation across six specialties, all led or co-led by ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏHealth faculty — including OB-GYN, which rose to No. 5 in the nation and remains the No. 1 ranked program in Florida.

Jesse Casanova receives ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏHealth Culture Coin for exemplary leadership during international delegation
Jesse Casanova, associate director of International Programs at ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏHealth International, was recognized with a Culture Coin for his exceptional coordination of a multi-sector delegation to Japan. His leadership resulted in new partnerships with six Japanese institutions, including agreements with Tokyo Women's Medical University and renewed collaboration with Gifu University. The first ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏmedical student has already begun research in Japan as a result of these partnerships.
