Applied Behavior Analysis master’s program earns national award for enduring contributions to the field

The Master of Science program in Applied Behavior Analysis, led by Raymond Miltenberger, PhD, BCBA-D, has been named the recipient of the Enduring Programmatic Contributions in Behavior Analysis Award. 

Presented by the , the award recognizes an agency, department, or facility that has made ongoing and lasting contributions to the field of behavior analysis. 

"I am honored that SABA chose our program for this award," said Miltenberger. "It reflects almost 20 years of hard work and dedication by the talented faculty who value our mission and strive to train excellent behavior analysts and contribute to research that informs best practice. Our success is also due in part to the support our program has always received from our department chair and the college dean."

Miltenberger and his team will be recognized during the Association for Behavior Analysis International annual convention on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in San Francisco. The award will be presented by SABA President Kent Johnson, PhD.
