Lindsay Peterson, PhD, a research assistant professor in the School of Aging Studies, was one of five women researchers featured at a recent Women Conquer ALZ event at the Tampa Women鈥檚 Club. March 8 was International Women鈥檚 Day.
Peterson worked with the Alzheimer鈥檚 Association on a recent grant funded by the Retirement Research Foundation. She conducted qualitative research with caregivers of individuals living with dementia about disaster preparedness and used the data to create a disaster preparedness guide tailored to meet caregivers鈥� needs. Working with her on the project were Bill Haley, PhD, Debra Dobbs, PhD, and Sara Hackett, PhD, all from the School of Aging Studies.
