Brooke Hansen is the associate director of the School of Hospitality and Sport Management in the Muma College of Business at the ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ. She is a Board of Directors member for Keep Florida Beautiful and the WellFed Community and serves as an expert for Hospitality Net's World Panel. Since 2020, she has been an academic affiliate at the Center for Responsible Travel (CREST) helping to organize World Tourism Day and conducting collaborative research. Hansen is a member of the Florida Agritourism Association and B Tourism, a group that meets monthly to promote the B Corp movement globally for sustainable tourism.

Numerous grants, including two from the U.S. Department of State, have funded her research projects on virtualization technologies for tourism, sustainable businesses practices, certifications in tourism, regenerative food systems, and promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She also works as a consultant with hospitality companies and internationally on sustainable development projects.
